What’s the most exciting thing about springtime? The weather? The barbecues? The flowers? All good answers but none as exciting as the fashion! Now is the time of the year to wear all things fun, flowy, and fantastic.
But there are so many options, it can be overwhelming. That’s why we sought the expertise of four amazing local fashion bloggers. The fashionistas behind Gracefullee Made, RaleighWhatsUp, Champagne & Suburbs, and Head to Toe Chic searched Cameron Village to piece together some stellar warm-weather wardrobes. Check them out below.
Thinking about catching a horse race this summer? Even if you’re not, there’s nothing wrong with rocking this derby-inspired look curated by Grace Lee. We love the pale blue and a wide-brim hat keeps you looking good and shaded from the sun. The monogram is a nice personal touch.
Grace also shows you how to rock an off-the-shoulder top, which is a very hot trend right now.
Chana Lynn of RaleighWhatsUp made a list of 10 spring trends and we love all of them. Among them is a groovy little throwback. Who’s up for a little tye dye? Pair it with a statement necklace and you’ll be full of flower power.
And although it has passed, you should still check out Chana’s Mother’s day gift ideas post. It has a ton of superb ideas to repurpose for summer birthdays or a “just because” gift.
Champagne and Suburbs
If you’re after that summer beach bod, there’s nothing saying you can’t look good while working for it. Meghan of Champagne and Suburbs knows this and that’s why she picked up some great outfits from Fly Raleigh and CorePower Yoga.
Head to Toe Chic
The weather has certainly been crazy this year. Bright sunshine one minute and a downpour the next. Angela of Head to Toe Chic has a great solution. Pair this adorable olive rain coat with a nice summer dress and you’ll be ready for anything.
And if you’re thinking about switching things up for date night, check out this Boho-inspired number.
