The Cameron Village Regional Library will close on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 5pm for renovations. The library is being refurbished with carpet, paint, new furnishings, and an updated floor plan to better reflect the library’s program of service. It is anticipated that the library will reopen in October 2016.

Wake County Public Libraries has 20 other locations and patrons are encouraged to visit them while the Cameron Village Library is being renovated. Libraries closest to Cameron Village include the Athens Drive Community Library (1420 Athens Dr., Raleigh, NC 27606) and the Richard B. Harrison Community Library (1313 New Bern Ave., Raleigh, NC 27610).   Both of these locations offer programming for children, public computers and books for all ages.

The Cameron Village exterior book return will remain open until Thursday, August 4, at 6 p.m. The book return will be closed August 5 for the remainder of the renovation and library members are encouraged to visit the other 20 library locations within Wake County Public Libraries.

For more information on the renovation project, Senior Library Manager for Facilities, Terri Luke (919-250-1024).
